CHOCOLATE BOURBON PECAN PIE

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 eggs
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1/4 c. bourbon
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
pieces
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

In large bowl with mixer at low speed, stir together
sugar and cornstarch. Beat in eggs until well blended. With
mixer at medium speed, beat in corn syrup, margarine and
bourbon until well blended. Use wooden spoon to stir in pecans
and chocolate pieces. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees
for 50 to 60 minutes or until set around edges. Cool on a wire
rack.
