JALAPENO CHEESE CASSEROLE BREAD

2 1/3 to 2 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
3 Tbsp. dry milk
1 Tbsp. oil
1 c. warm water
1 egg
1 c. grated cheese
1 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno
pepper
1 Tbsp. dried onion

In a large bowl, mix 7/8 cup flour, sugar, salt, yeast
and dry milk. Combine water, oil and egg; gradually add to
dry ingredients. Beat 2 minutes; add cheese, onion and
jalapeno peppers. Stir in rest of flour to make a thick
batter. Let rise about 40 minutes or until double. Stir down
and bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Good with
pinto beans!
