BOURBON PECAN PIE

1 c. pecan halves
1/4 c. bourbon whiskey
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. butter
1 c. dark corn syrup
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Toss pecans and bourbon. Let stand 1 hour. In another
bowl, mix brown sugar and flour. Cream in butter. Beat in
corn syrup, eggs and salt. Stir in pecans and bourbon. Turn
mixture into pie crust. Cover edge with 3-inch strip aluminum
foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake another
15 minutes. Be sure to use Jack Daniels bourbon.
