CHEDDAR CHEESE BREAD

1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. oleo
1 c. warm water
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar
cheese
4 1/2 c. flour

Scald milk; add sugar, salt and oleo. Cool to lukewarm.
In large bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Add milk mixture,
cheese and flour. Stir well. Let rise until double, about 45
minutes. Stir down. Beat with wooden spoon and pour into 2
well-greased bread pans. Let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees until
golden brown.
