HOT YEAST ROLLS
(Icebox Yeast Rolls)
5 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 pkg. dry yeast
2/3 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
2 1/3 c. buttermilk
5 tsp. baking powder

Mix yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar with just enough warm
water to dissolve and set aside. Sift together the remainder
of dry ingredients 5 times. Add oil and buttermilk and yeast
mixture. Then stir together. Put in airtight container.
Refrigerate. Good up to 3 weeks in refrigerator. Take out the
amount needed for each meal and refrigerate the remainder. Can
be used for cinnamon rolls and pastries.
