LO-CAL PORK CHOPS ITALIANO

4 pork loin chops
2 tsp. cooking oil
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram,
crushed
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water

Brown pork chops in hot cooking oil in large skillet.
Remove chops from pan. In same pan cook onion until tender;
push to one side. Arrange pork chops in skillet; spoon onion
atop. Combine marjoram, garlic powder and pepper; sprinkle
over meat. Add water; simmer, covered, over low heat 35 to 40
minutes. Spoon juices over meat to serve. Contains 247
calories.
