BLACKBERRY COBBLER

6 c. blackberries
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

Combine the blackberries and cup of sugar. Pour into
greased casserole. Sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking
powder into mixing bowl. Add egg and enough milk to make a
stiff batter. Drop by spoonfuls on blackberries. Bake in
moderate 350 degrees oven for 20 minutes or until cobbler dough is
nicely browned. Serve warm or cold with cream or ice cream.
