HARD ROCK CANDY|
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3/4 c. light Karo syrup
Stir until dissolves over low heat. Using candy ther-
mometer, cook to 300 degrees. Add 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon flavor-
ing oil; add cake coloring. Put mixture on cookie sheet; let
set until mixture has cooled, then break into pieces.
