FLUFFY UNCOOKED FROSTING

1 egg white, chilled
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine egg white, sugar and cream of tartar in a large
bowl. Add boiling water and begin at once to beat with rotary
beater or electric mixer; continue beating until very thick and
fluffy. Add vanilla. Makes enough frosting for tops and sides
of 2 (9-inch) layers.
