STRAWBERRY PECAN CAKE|
1 box white cake mix
1 box strawberry Jell-O
1 c. Wesson oil
1/2 c. milk
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 c. strawberries
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts (pecans)
4 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. drained strawberries
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. coconut
1 box sifted powdered sugar
Mix cake mix, Jell-O, oil and milk together. Add beaten
egg yolks. Fold in strawberries, coconut and nuts. Fold in
beaten egg whites (add egg whites last). Bake at 350 degrees for 40
to 50 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan or 4 (8-inch) pans or 3
(9-inch) pans (greased and floured).
Icing: Mix margarine strawberries, pecans and coconut.
Pour in powdered sugar.
