PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1/4 c. chopped peanuts

Beat butter until soft; add peanut butter and beat until
light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating after each
addition. Continue beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs
one at a time. Beat after each addition. Sift flour and soda
together. Add flour to creamed mixture and stir until smooth.
Add chocolate chips and peanuts. Stir. Drop by teaspoon onto
a greased cookie sheet; flatten each slightly with back of
spoon. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes or until done. Remove
immediately; cool on rack. Makes 6 dozen 2-inch cookies.
