ITALIAN CREAM CAKE

2 sticks oleo
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 small can coconut
5 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Cream oleo and sugar until smooth. Add egg yolks; beat
well. Add flour, soda and buttermilk alternately. Then add
coconut, nuts and egg whites and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 25
minutes.

Italian Cream Cake Icing:
1 stick oleo
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1 box powdered sugar
Mix oleo and cream cheese together. Then add powdered
sugar, nuts and vanilla.
