SOFT SUGAR COOKIES|
2 c. sugar
2 sticks oleo (butter)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. milk
4 tsp. baking powder
6 c. flour
Mix the sugar, eggs, oleo and salt well; then add the
vanilla, milk and baking powder. Add about 6 cups flour,
enough to roll dough. Roll cookies about 1/4-inch thick; bake
until they are still soft. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes.
Do not brown on the bottom of the cookies. They will get hard.
Put in Tupperware containers. They will stay soft and good
indefinitely! Ice cookies with your favorite frosting.
