1 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet

2 eggs
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and
salt in a small bowl and set aside. In a large bowl, combine
butter, sugars and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy. Beat
in eggs. Add flour mixture gradually to this mixture. Stir in
entire package of chocolate chips. Spread batter evenly in
10-inch pie pan or frying pan. (Aluminum foil on the bottom of
the pan facilitates removal.) Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 min-

knife into the center of the cookie. When the cookie is done,
the toothpick or knife will come out clean.
