FLUFFY WHITE CAKE FROSTING|
1 c. milk
pinch of salt
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. flour
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
Stir milk, flour and salt together and cook over low
heat until thick. Cool thoroughly. In mixer, place sugar,
margarine, Crisco and vanilla and beat until it is fluffy.
Combine first mixture with second mixture and beat until it is
very thick and fluffy. (My grandchildren call this "Grandma's
gravy icing". They love it!
