SUPER SOFT PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. flour 3/4 tsp. soda 1/4 tsp. salt Mix butter, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together. Mix ingredients thoroughly, then add flour, salt and soda. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. (May want to chill dough first if too sticky.) Roll balls in granulated sugar. Bake cookies on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees. Bake cookies for 6 to 9 minutes. (Cookies should be lightly brown on edges and slightly doughy in center.) Remove from oven to finish baking on cookie sheet for 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
