TEXAS CAKE

2 sticks margarine
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

Bring margarine, water and cocoa to a boil for 2 minutes
or microwave 1 minute. Cool. Add buttermilk, soda and vanilla
to cooled mixture. Add eggs and mix well. Sift together salt,
flour and sugar. Pour into 15 x 17-inch cookie sheet. Bake at
350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Icing for Texas Cake:
1 stick margarine
3 Tbsp. cocoa
5 Tbsp. milk
1 pkg. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to boil; boil 5 minutes
or 1 1/2 to 2 minutes in microwave. Remove from heat; add
powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Ice cake when removed from
oven.
