ORANGE POUND CAKE

2 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1/2 stick margarine or butter
1 c. Sunkist or Orange Crush
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. orange flavoring

Topping:
1 c. powdered sugar
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. orange flavoring

Cream together margarine, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs,
one at a time, beating well after each. Cream until light and
fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with
the Sunkist. Add flavorings. Pour in tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees
for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Note: This makes a light topping. Double the recipe for
thick icing.
