4 egg whites
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. coconut

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Beat egg whites in large bowl on
high speed until foamy. Beat in sugar 1 tablespoon at a time.
Beat until glossy and firm. Stir in vanilla, salt and coconut.
Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on waxed paper or lightly
greased cookie sheet. Bake until set and delicately brown,
about 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and cool. Makes
about 3 dozen.
