PAVLOVA

4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vinegar
6 oz. superfine sugar
1/2 tsp. cornstarch

Whip eggs until stiff. Add half the sugar and the rest
of ingredients. Whip until stiff peaks. Fold (very gently)
the rest of the sugar. This does not have to be thoroughly
mixed. Bake the egg whites on a flat plate or pan very lightly
sprayed with Pam. If you use too much, it will break down the
egg white. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees. Cool in warm place.
Whip up fresh cream; spread on top of shell and place
fresh or canned fruit on top. (You can shape your egg whites
any way before baking such as a heart. Just smooth with a
spatula.)
