CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE

1 c. water
1 stick margarine
2 sq. baking chocolate
1/2 c. buttery cooking oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk

Add water, margarine, chocolate and cooking oil in
saucepan. Bring to boil. Remove from stove and add sugar,
flour, eggs, vanilla and salt. Dissolve soda in buttermilk;
add this to mixture. Mix well. Place in greased and floured
sheet cake pan. Bake in 375 degrees oven for 25 to 35 minutes or
until done. Have icing ready to spread on cake as soon as the
cake comes from the oven.

Chocolate Sheet Cake Icing:
1 stick margarine
2 sq. chocolate
6 Tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. salt
Combine margarine, chocolate and milk. Bring to boil;
remove from stove. Add powdered sugar, pecans and salt. Mix
by hand. Spread on cake while warm.
