2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. grated coconut
2 c. cornflakes
Sift together dry ingredients. Cream shortening. Add
sugars gradually, beat until light. Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine coconut and cornflakes. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased
baking sheet 1/2-inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
or until light brown.
