AUNT EMMAS' GOOD CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES|
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. hot water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chip
Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream Crisco,
vanilla and sugar together well. Blend 2 to 3 minutes; add 2
eggs, beat well after each. Add flour mixture slowly. Add 1
teaspoon hot water, then chocolate chips. Drop on slightly
greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
Moist Batter = Moist Soft Cookies.
