NEIMAN-MARCUS BROWNIES

1 box yellow cake mix or 2
boxes Jiffy yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 eggs
6 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1 box powdered sugar
1/4 to 1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate
chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, melted butter
and 1 egg until it forms a soft dough. Press into a 9 x 13 or
10 x 14 1/2-inch aluminum pan; set aside. Combine softened
cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar and coconut. Pour over
dough layer in pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over cream cheese
mixture in pan. Sprinkle chopped nuts over chocolate chips.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees. (Brownies will look undone
somewhat; don't overcook.) Cool completely (overnight); cut
into squares.
