1 c. shortening
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
dash of salt

Cream shortening, cream cheese, sugars and vanilla very
well. Add beaten eggs, beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut
butter. Sift dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
Form into tiny balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press
with fork to make crisscross. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
