CARMEL CORN (MICROWAVE)

4 to 6 qt. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick oleo
1/4 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

Put popped corn in a large grocery sack. Cook brown
sugar, oleo, syrup and salt (full power, 10, High). Cook until
boils, then cook (full power, 10, High) for 2 minutes. Take
out of oven. Add 1/4 tsp. baking soda and stir vigorously.
Then add the mixture to the popcorn in the grocery sack. Place
sack with popcorn and caramel back into the microwave.
(Roll top of the sack down a little.) Cook 1 1/2 minutes (full
power, 10, High). Then take out and shake the sack. Repeat
cooking and shaking two times more for 1 1/2 minutes on (full
power, 10, High). Very good, yet quick and easy.
